This blog aims to explore connections between a wide dispersion of ideas, media and experiences.

Currently it’s loosely structured around the readings and lectures of the Contemporary Architectural Theory course on the Master of Architecture programme at the University of Edinburgh.

These lectures have introduced weekly clusters of categories as outlined in the blog archive (click top right). These categories first appear in the order they are introduced, but as ideas start to resonate, they start to reappear in different orders. Rather than a diary slavishly following the narrative of the lectures, this blog is a more truthful chronology of ideas, and starts to bounce between disparate topics. Through navigating through the category archive, I hope you will enjoy weaving your own constellations of connections.

The title of the blog is taken from the above painting by Peter Doig (1997-98).
